Don’t Dump It! Recycle it!
Have you ever asked your parents or grandparents what was life like before the tall buildings, numerous cars, and heavy traffic? Did they smell the freshness of the air or the see the cleanliness of the streets?

During your lifetime here on Earth, you alone will produce over 600 times weight of trash that will eventually add up to the world’s waste materials. According to The Statistics Portal (2019) on Global Waste Generalization,
Urbanization, population growth, and economic development bring about waste generation. The increasing prosperity of countries and the movement towards urban areas increases the per capita generation of waste. This rapid population growth along with urbanization makes providing adequate waste collection services and treatment more difficult.

“Mismanagement of waste is harming human health and local environments while adding to the climate challenge. Unfortunately, it is often the poorest in society who are adversely impacted by inadequate waste management. It doesn’t have to be this way. Our resources need to be used and then reused continuously so that they don’t end up in landfills.”
Laura Tuck, Vice President for Sustainable Development, World Bank
Therefore, the best way to utilize the Earth’s resources more sensibly is to reduce the amount of things that we use and to reuse things instead of throwing them away. If we can’t reduce or reuse, RECYCLING them is far much better than simply tossing them out into the trash.

If everyone reduced, reused, and recycled, the Earth’s resources would be used more responsibly. This is because the waste we produce and the trash we throw away accumulate in landfills or or burnt in an incinerator.
then they look awful, stink, and take up space that could be used for better things. Oftentimes, they sometimes create toxic soil and water pollution that can kill fish in our bodies of water.

Since January of this year, The Philippines have recycled 20% of Glass, 15% of Paper, 10% of Plastic, and 25% of Metal
